Profile Studio.
Draw, edit, inspect and save your own sheet-metal profiles — all on your device.
01 — Setup
MMMaterial and thickness are notes only. This preview does not calculate bend allowances.
Choosing a template replaces the current sketch. Save it first if needed.
Drag green points in the drawing or enter exact coordinates in the points panel.
Build from a profile
Choose a section, adjust its starting dimensions, then keep editing every point. These are illustrative open centrelines, not proven fabrication developments.
Select a starter profile.
Precision leg editor
NEW · MM / DEGREESSelect a highlighted leg on the drawing, or choose it below. Enter an exact length and direction.
0° = right, 90° = up, -90° = down. Downstream points move together; other leg lengths and angles are preserved. This is centreline geometry only.
Draw the next leg
Add a precise new leg by length and direction. Absolute angle is measured from the horizontal; relative turn is measured from the previous leg.
Shape orientation
QUICK TOOLSMirror or rotate the complete centreline, or reverse its point order. All tools support Undo.
Mirror and rotate around the first point. These tools change drawing orientation only, not bend directions or manufacturing instructions.

Reference visual only · No material thickness, real bends, allowances, joining, or verified flat pattern.
Drawing inspector .
Explore true centreline measurements, compare revisions and create a non-manufacturing reference report.
Point-to-point measure
LIVESelect any two points for direct distance and X/Y offsets, independent of the sketch's route.

NON-DESTRUCTIVECapture a reference sketch or select a saved profile. The dotted overlay makes edits easy to see.
Dimension & direction schedule
NOT BEND INSTRUCTIONSDirection is a global XY angle; turn is the geometric change of direction between consecutive legs. These are not internal bend angles or press-brake instructions.

02 — Points
X / YCoordinates in millimetres. Point fields retain the precision you enter or import; DXF export rounds to 0.001 mm and checks the resulting shape. The first point is the origin of the profile, not a backgauge location.

Sketch review
Checks only detect simple coordinate problems. They do not validate bends, tooling, material behaviour, flat patterns, or manufacturing safety.
Unsaved edits also create a recoverable browser-only draft; you choose whether to restore it on your next visit. For safety, use one Studio tab at a time: another tab changing the draft pauses autosave and prompts you to export JSON. If another tab changes the saved library, editing that library also pauses until you reload. This is not a guaranteed backup. Saved profiles live only in this browser. Back up the entire library before clearing site data or changing devices. Maximum 200 local profiles, subject to browser storage limits. New saves and restores will not silently delete older entries. Delete an individual saved profile with its Delete button, or back up and clear the whole library.
