BUILT AROUND REAL WORK

A place for every part of the job.

Norman's desktop workflow aims to make the same design understandable to different people without forcing everyone through an expert-only interface.

Fabricators & operators

Work with familiar profiles, clear dimensions and designs that can be checked before they reach the shop floor.

FROM A STARTING SHAPE

Choose. Adjust. Review.

The latest desktop development candidates focus on the route from choosing a product to editing its geometry and viewing the result.

  1. 01
    Choose a profile

The Windows source reports 310 starting templates: 130 original and 180 new editable sections.

  2. 02
    Edit dimensions

Existing custom-drawing functionality is retained; Stage 3 has implemented linked 2D, 3D and flat-pattern views in the native development candidate. Windows and workshop validation remain outstanding.

  3. 03
    Inspect the result

3D views and flat-pattern information are being refined. Geometry and exported output still require validation.
